Globe Trotter Luxury Carry-On Luggage / Attaché Case

The item was sold with an incomplete description. Upon receipt, the pouch had a strong foul odor, and after washing, I found a tear and small cockroaches inside, showing it was damaged and unsanitary. The seller refused a refund due to washing, despite these issues not being disclosed. Buyers rely on honest description. Sadly, the lack of transparency resulted in a very unpleasant experience.

I received the item today and opened it immediately. There was a strong cockroach odor, so I washed the item for hygienic reasons, especially since I have a child with asthma. After washing, I discovered a tear in the pouch and cockroaches inside. Despite being listed as brand new, the item arrived damaged and with a foul smell. All supporting photos are provided.

Carousell provides AI-generated details for product listings on its platform, hence, the listing details may be incomplete. However, the principle of "due diligence" applies, meaning it is the buyer's responsibility to check and ask about the item's condition before purchasing - especially the item is vintage / second-hand. The buyer did not ask any question prior to the purchase. Additionally, the buyer washer the item. The holes she is now claiming may have occurred after the item was washed.
